Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"First of all, great location, ambience, friendly staff and under the heat, place remained cool and fresh. Beautiful seafood menu. I am not a fan of fish because of the smell, I always find it polarizing but you wouldn’t even know that 90 %of the menu is fish. I highly recommend the frittura mista di pesce, pepata di cozze vongole, la cicchetterà della casa (to share in 2 or someone can eat alone) also kids can enjoy depending on their palettes. Beautiful place. One of the best I’ve experienced"
"Excellent service, good prices and the thai food I ordered was delicious to say the least! 100% recommended"
"If you don’t try the Gnocchetti allo Scoglio at Bora Bora, you have not been to Sottomarina! Emanuele - the owner- makes the best gnocchetti in town! Casual location, excellent seafood, friendly staff. A must try in the area."
"Great food, good Location to Start the Evening. Have had grilled fish and tasted great. Prices also good."
"Nice place with good food. They are fast and professional."
"Very quick to bring you food and the food quality was also really nice"
"They were nearing the end of the season and closing on the day I went so I didnt get the full experience. However, the staff was nice and friendly. The food tastes great. I would love to come back when its fully operational to see"
"Bora Bora is a must if you are in town and around this establishment. Me and my family stopped here while we were on vacation for our evening meal. The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing as you have great outdoor seating and areas for shade if you happen to be there during the heat of the day. They have an awesome mail that highlights a lot of of the local seafood as well as a hidden gym of some Filipino dishes on the menu that are to die for. They also have an excellent wine selection and quite a few mixed drinks that you could order while you’re waiting for your food. The staff was very friendly. The establishment was very clean also no birds or seagulls trying to attack you while eating lol. Yes this does happen. Overall, me and my family really enjoy eating here. We will definitely be back. I want to say thank you to the Bora Bora employees and waitstaff for such a wonderful experience."
